This weekend, several local teams are set to participate in the second round of the knock-out style AHSAA play-offs where winners will qualify for the State Tournament to be held at John Hunt Park on May 7th and 8th.
Two marquee match-ups will provide excitement for local soccer fans as not one, but two Huntsville derbies will be contested for a spot in the state semifinals next week. In 6A boys action, the first Huntsville derby clash will take place Friday night at 6PM with Grissom hosting Huntsville. The second Huntsville derby match will feature Catholic traveling across town to Randolph at 5PM on Saturday in 1-4A Boys action.
